Every Black mother/ birthing person deserves a joyous pregnancy and healthy birth.

This workgroup addresses how racism, health care, perinatal care, personal and community support impact African American Infant and Maternal mortality (AAIMM) rates.

Our goal: We will utilize top findings from current data reports to create strategies, interventions and actionable steps to reduce AAIMM rates. Members will identify and engage with anyone that can have an impact on the mom and baby during pregnancy and after birth and will make recommendations to Policy & Advocacy.
