The LAC PEI Summit will uplift the invaluable work and efforts being led by AAIMM PEI and our Community partners, birthworkers, clinicians, community advocates, health care plans, parents/birthing persons, etc. to support healthy and joyous pregnancy and birth outcomes in LA County. The Summit will also highlight interventions and strategies led through Community and County partnerships to reduce Black infant and maternal mortality and morbidity.

Attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about PEI-funded initiatives—- Group Prenatal, Fatherhood Engagement, Preconception Care, Doula Services, AAIMM Village Fund, and AAIMM for Joy, our new effort in partnership with LA County’s managed care plans.  We will share countywide data and impact since the program’s 2019 launch and recognize the Steering Committee and AAIMM Community Action Teams for their contributions.
