This is Community Dialogue and Awareness for the Pregnant/Parenting Mother/Birthing Person, Fathers, Partners, and Family members supporting Black Moms and Infants
We have partnered with Maternal Mental Health Now to provide several Mental Health focused FREE Capacity building trainings to our community members and partners. Please note that we want to ensure that our communities do not shy away from the following words – “Mental Health”, “Maternal Mental Health”, “Paternal Mental Health”, “Postpartum Depression”, “Maternal Anxiety Disorders”…we want to demystify and de-stigmatize not just these words but the issues/fear many experience around mental health and/or emotional wellness that could prevent individuals from participating in these type of offerings or seeking services. Please be aware that these services can be of value to not just the pregnant and parenting woman/birthing person, but the Dads, partners, grandmothers, siblings, aunts/uncles, friends – the entire support system.
So, please sign up and JOIN US this Thursday November 9th or December 14th…though why wait til next month when you can join us tomorrow, from the comfort of your home, office or wherever is safe for you.
